About the Director Brad King

Brad developed a strong wanderlust from an early age, thanks to his father's adventurous spirit that led the family to explore captivating destinations. This marked just the beginning of his globetrotting journey. Over the years, Brad has ventured to 75 different countries, and his penchant for documenting these mesmerizing experiences evolved into a true passion. This passion ultimately culminated in the creation of his debut feature film, "Bancoco."

Embarking on this maiden voyage into feature filmmaking, Brad was initially unaware of the immense demands in terms of time, effort, and finances. It was an arduous journey, but he persevered. Brad's hallmark traits, where the pursuit of perfection guides his actions and curiosity drives his quest for knowledge, are evident in the remarkable end result of his film.

It runs in the family

Maybe just a coincidence, but in 1969 a  "fictionalized documentary" was released called "King Murray", about Murray King, Brad's father. It received a Cannes International Critics Award in 1970 and other various festival awards.
